Playing in fields of Tulips and Daffodils

How amazing are these fields!?  It's been on my list for a while to visit the tulip fields in Mount Vernon, Wa and they did NOT disappoint.  It has been so rainy here for the past month, we were luckily blessed with a gorgeous day to enjoy!  Although it was a bit muddy, the kids got to run around and grandma and grandpa were in town as well which is always such a nice treat for myself and the kids.  I'm always interested in seeking out activities that are adventurous.  Yes, it can be difficult schlepping two kids over an hour away but the memories are ALWAYS worth it!
This Thursday I'm flying home to New York to throw my sister a baby shower for my newest little nephew and I'm soo excited!  It's super rare that I travel solo without the kids and while I'm feeling all the mom guilt, I'm also really stoked to sit on a plane by myself and not have to entertain two children on a cross country flight by myself (there will be time for that in the summer....;)

And finally, a sneak peak at Jordan's room.  I'm so in love with a lot of the new Opalhouse for Target line.  It's received mixed reviews I know but my personal style is such a mix of traditional, modern, and bohemian, so I really love the way this space is coming together!  I'm a true fan of progress pics so I'll be sharing this room more as it evolves.  How about a 'hell yes' for that paint color though!?  It's Morristown Cream by Benjamin Moore and it reads the perfect shade of pink (with a hint of lavender).  Love !  Do you guys want to see more home reno stuff or just stick to the kiddos and our adventures?

Hope you're having a great Tuesday!!!
