Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

Surprise!  My blog got a little face lift!  Super happy to be posting again and having such a great looking (and creative) place to do so.  If anyone has recommendations on what content they'd like to see, just drop a me a comment.  Now...on to the fun stuff.

Twas' a GREAT weekend full of all things Fall! This time of year has me craving to visit new places.  If only we could all live in a quaint little New England town this time of year.  Since I'm an adventurer at heart, I thought I would pull together a small bucket list of places I'd love to visit someday during the Fall.

1).  Woodstock, Vermont-Tucked away in this town live 400 year old hemlock tress and picturesque scenes.  I literally can't wait to stumble upon Sleepy Hollow Farm, and admire all of the beauty that Fall has to offer.  I'm also all in because of the food and maple syrup.  It would be really fun to visit Vermont Trade Winds Farm to see how the sap is collected and tour the sugarhouse with free samples of maple sugar!

2).  Salem, Massachusetts-Although my sisters tell me that this is NOT the place to go around Halloween, I still would love to make it here to visit one day.  Pioneer Village looks so neat!  It's the oldest living history museum in America and feels like it's right out of a scene from Hocus Pocus (aka right up my alley).

3).  Breckenridge, Colorado-Besides being my birth state, Colorado has so many great Fall activities.  Although I'm not much of a drinker, I think visiting the Breckenridge Oktoberfest would be so fun.

4).  Argyle, New York- I would love to slip away before Thanksgiving for a weekend in the woods and unplug and just chill with my family.  We love airbnb! Or spend a romantic night away (dropping the kiddos off with my family in New York) at the Whispering Wind Treehouse.  Ahhh....someday.

Until then, I'll be cozying up by the fireplace this Fall, tucking my babies into bed and playing endless games of Gin and Trivial Pursuit with my one and only love.  With all the bad in the world, Fall is most definietly a bright spot.

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

What is on your Fall trip bucket list!?
